A fresh group of ceramics with incredible glazes by JAMES HAGGERTY joins a selection of biomorphic Surrealist sculpture by RAFAEL PEREA DE LA CABADA. A fresh pointillist abstraction from 1963 by OSKAR FISCHINGER makes a dynamic companion to PAMELA CARROLL's exquisite realist painting of Gary's Pot.

Tour Corazón Migrante/ Chicago

 

 

 

Join us for the inauguration of Tour Corazón Migrante at Consulado General de México en Chicago on May 30th!

TOUR CORAZÓN MIGRANTE is an art exhibit formed by a collective of 23 artists of Mexican descent residing throughout the U.S. which resulted from their participation in the binational artist conference in CDMX2021.

The art exhibit features 40 paintings of various mediums as well as two paper maché sculptures.

There will also be a dress on display by fashion designer Julieta Zavala and a special acoustic performance by The Braided Janes who shape part of the collective in the form performance art.

The objective of the exhibit is to create more cultural events that highlight the richness and vibrancy found within the Mexican migrant community in the U.S. while promoting more inclusivity.

The exhibit will be open to the public May 30th to June 15th, 2023
